Genoa Christian Academy
Design and Ministry Needs
The growing school and growing church shared space, and each needed more room to accommodate their growth. The school was designed to house Middle and High School students.
Highlights
The project not only contained classrooms and labs for students, but also a Music Arts room, a physical and graphic arts room, and a full kitchen. The commons include a small assembly platform and serves as a multipurpose space as the student cafeteria, a large group meeting space, and outdoor patio seating. In addition to the double basketball-size gym, the building houses locker rooms, a workout room, and school offices.
Results
The school opened with the facility with record enrollment, and the facility still gives them room to continue to grow.

Case Study
When people ask me what we think of The McKnight Group, I tell them we built a multimillion-dollar sanctuary with them and then turned right around and built a multimillion-dollar school building with them.
